World book day 2023

We all had a great day during world book day.  We had lots of children and adults dressing up as their favourite characters as well as carrying out various activities in class to show and develop our love of reading.  We took part in art activities around our favourite books and favourite authors, we held a book flix event where we choose which story to listen to around school - what would be the book from the blurb and who would be reading?  We didn't know until we arrived!! Year six took part a virtual author visit in preparation for their next terms topic and our reading buddy scheme has been launched.  Watch out for further information about this.
