Remote Learning
Remote learning approach for children self isolating - January 2022
The member of staff responsible for remote learning in school is Mrs. Hannah Lambert.
If your child is required to isolate due to COVID 19, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can record your child's absence appropriately and provide remote learning where necessary. We do not expect your child to access remote learning if they are unwell and would encourage you to maintain regular contact with your child’s class teacher about this through Class Dojo.
We appreciate the circumstances differ for individual families and are keen to ensure that the work provided is both manageable and accessible. We will not expect you print off activities to do at home unless this is requested.
Initially we would encourage your child to work on our online platforms – TT Rockstars, Active Learn etc. and to practise spellings for their year group and continue to read regularly. Class teachers will share work on Class Dojo as soon as they are able to, following the notification of your child’s absence. We are happy to prepare packs of work to either be collected from school or dropped off at your home if needed. We also have laptops that can be used during your child’s isolation period so again, please let us know if this is required.
